Promoting Animal Welfare in Schools
Animal suffering is not an animal problem—it’s a human education problem.
Every day, animals in our communities suffer from neglect, overpopulation, and abandonment—not because people don’t care, but because they were never taught how to do better.
PAWS was created to change that.
This three-day, hands-on humane education program teaches students the fundamentals of responsible pet ownership while building compassion, accountability, and respect for life.
Aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), PAWS integrates seamlessly into the classroom while delivering meaningful, real-world lessons.

Through interactive learning and real-life examples, students gain an understanding of:
The importance of spaying and neutering
The responsibilities that come with pet ownership
Basic animal health and disease prevention
How their choices directly impact animals and their communities
Created from decades of real rescue experience, PAWS is built on what actually works—not theory. It equips the next generation with the knowledge and empathy needed to break the cycle of suffering before it starts.
Because when you educate the human, you change both lives—and the future they share.
